It’s 1956, Hilda and Sam are excited to have their freedom now that their adult children have finally left the nest. But nothing goes as planned. Their son flings himself over their fence; on the run from thugs. Their daughter arrives; having left her husband because she doesn’t want to do housework. The unexpected arrival of a love interest and a bookie fill Hilda’s Yard with chaos. As things progress from bad to worse, the laughter grows in this hilarious comedy.
